Lord, please help me today
To speak words of love
Out of a grateful heart
Be kind, patient, and obey
You endured such pain
Bore the awful weight of sin
Suffered, died, rose again
Cleansed me from within
I know I’m not perfect
But this I know holds true
If I confess my sins
You faithfully forgive
And closer I draw, to You
