Ecclesiastes 10:1
KJV 1 Dead flies cause the ointment of the apothecary to send forth a stinking savour: so doth a little folly him that is in reputation for wisdom and honour.
AKJV 1 Dead flies cause the ointment of the apothecary to send forth a stinking smell: so does a little folly him that is in reputation for wisdom and honor.

These are my thoughts.
We should create a pleasing smell in our life to the Lord.

Ecclesiastes 10:2
KJV 2 A wise man's heart is at his right hand; but a fool's heart at his left.
AKJV 2 A wise man's heart is at his right hand; but a fool's heart at his left.

These are my thoughts.
Right hand often means power, there is power in living for the Lord but weakness in living our own way.

Ecclesiastes 10:3
KJV 3 Yea also, when he that is a fool walketh by the way, his wisdom faileth him, and he saith to every one that he is a fool.
AKJV 3 Yes also, when he that is a fool walks by the way, his wisdom fails him, and he said to every one that he is a fool.

These are my thoughts.
We should wlak b the Lord because without the Lord wisdom does not mean anything.

Ecclesiastes 10:4
KJV 4 If the spirit of the ruler rise up against thee, leave not thy place; for yielding pacifieth great offences.
AKJV 4 If the spirit of the ruler rise up against you, leave not your place; for yielding pacifies great offenses.

These are my thoughts.
We may have authority figures come against and we need to stay true to the faith and who we are when this happens.

Ecclesiastes 10:7
KJV 7 I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth.
AKJV 7 I have seen servants on horses, and princes walking as servants on the earth.

These are my thoughts.
Sometimes the way things go seems backwards but we need to let the Lord lead us thru the confusion.

Ecclesiastes 10:8
KJV 8 He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him.
AKJV 8 He that digs a pit shall fall into it; and whoever breaks an hedge, a serpent shall bite him.

These are my thoughts.
Let us not dig out pit of sin any more but follow Jesus.
